EasyVFR Autumn update

Hi there!

At our office in the Netherlands the flying season is gone, days are getting shorter and the temperature is falling gradually. It gives us plenty of time to work on EasyVFR development. (-:

EasyVFR 4 Status

We get many questions about this. Rest assured, we are working hard on getting the next big EasyVFR release ready for the next flying season. It is much more than a fresh overhaul, it is a complete product renewal! We hope to include vector mapping, a newly designed interface and many more new features.

EasyVFR 3 update (pending)

Parallel to EasyVFR 4 developments we have been improving the current EasyVFR version. Besides some stability improvements (thanks to users for reporting!) and code housekeeping we also included many nifty new features that were requested by some of you. Many small improvements that have been on our wish list for a very long time have been included.

We hope to release end of this month - stay tuned!

8.33kHz Frequencies

One by one European countries are changing over to the new 8.33kHz frequency separation. Of course you always find the updated frequencies in EasyVFR, but some frequencies may be hard-coded in your own brain after years of using them. Beware!

As you can read above, we are inspired by the stories our users tell us.

They help us make EasyVFR a better tool every day, but also are incredibly motivating.

We therefore decided to invite you all over for a drink and a typical Dutch snack.

There will not be an official program, just a lot of Dutch “gezelligheid”, flyer talk, drinks and snacks!

December 1st 15:00-17:00, you are welcome to drive, fly or ride a bike to our office at

Emoeweg 28, Lelystad Airport (EHLE).
