Our Privacy Policy.

Here at the PocketFMS Foundation, we have quite a short and simple Privacy Policy:

It's your personal information, and
you get to share that information with others. We do NOT.

The information we gather about you is only used for our own administration, and will never be voluntarily made available to anyone outside PocketFMS, save for an emergency, force majeure or legal obligation.

	We may record your personal information only in a few situations:
		If you've had an (e)mail correspondence with us: We'll know your email address and whatever you choose to disclose to us in that correspondence, but keep it to ourselves unless we have your explicit consent to share it with another party.
		If you've signed up with us, e.g. for our mailing list or a software trial: We'll know your email address, but will not allow another party access. That includes third party email services; we send our own emails from our own servers.
		If you've purchased items with us: We'll know your IP address, email address and invoice address data plus your payment method. We will NOT know any sensitive payment details such as a credit card number. We may know your bank account number but do not store it.
		If you've joined our forum: We'll know your chosen forum nickname, IP address(es) and email address plus whatever you choose to divulge on the forum.
		If you've used our Software, particularly its Cloud functionality: We'll know your flight details, such as planned and actual routes. We may use that information for internal analysis in an anonymized form, and will NOT provide it to another party.

In all above situations, our Privacy Policy will be in full effect. We will not gather more information than we actually need, and if for any reason you wish to be erased from our register, will take care of matters. You have the right to be forgotten and the right to know what we know about you. Fully exercising your right to be forgotten by us might make your licences invalid and might render your copies of our Software useless. Exercising those rights does not imply rights of (financial or other) restitution or reimbursement, and it is irreversable.
